Unless you run into a Kabutops player. An at least slightly competent Kabutops player stone walls everything PikaEX does aside from good Zapdos EX rolls.

Or someone goes second and gets a great misty roll.

Edit: Thankfully after my first streak dying early yo Kabutops...got 5 in a row.

1 Mewtwo EX deck that was a very close fight as my 4th win (op had 2 points and Pika Ex was down to 20HP)
1 Articuno EX Deck I stomped
1 Raichu/Pika EX deck I beat
1 really unfocused fire deck I curbstomped as my 5th win. One shotted moltres on turn 4 and he dipped
Think the other deck was Pikachu/Zapdos EX. I went second and he led with Zapdos so that thing got fried before it did much.

Also saw a Melmetal Deck

I ran 2 Pikachus, 2 Zapdos and 2 of the Voltorb/Electrode line and most of the time I was set up before the opponent could do anything. So many water decks helped a lot
