People like to make this into a really big and difficult topic to talk about with kids. Like they'll say "I get that there are trans and non binary people but it's too confusing for children and it's too difficult to talk about when they're young."

Funny thing about kids. They fucking get it immediately. They literally have no problem AT ALL with these topics and don't find it confusing at all.

You tell a 5 year old "some people like to wear clothes that girls normally wear even if they're boys" or "some people don't like to be called boys or girls" or "well sarah grew up thinking she was a boy but is a girl" or "john is a man but has a vulva"...they have zero issue with any of this. It is only ever the parents kicking up a stink or being confused.

And its especially gross because these are real people were talking about, people who exist in the world and in many cases have children of their own

there are trans parents at my 3-year olds daycareits so fucking offensive to imply that its a subject you shouldnt be talking about with children
