Topic	The fact that I'll never be a father is tearing me up right now.

If you want kids for entirely selfish reasons you're a terrible person. If you know you couldn't be a good father don't ever consider it. But, if you truly want kids maybe try adopting or fostering? But, I will say having kids is not like having pets.
