I didn't watch Last Man Standing, but didn't the show push back on Tim Allen's character somewhat? My impression was that the show at least made the non-conservative characters real people with viable points of view, and the show often had Tim Allen's character learning to be at least a little open minded.

But this new show seems to have just thrown that out the window completely, and it's just a mouthpiece for Tim and his boomer politics to go completely unchallenged.

Last Man Standing, at least from what i saw of it, mostly portrayed him as being as much of a stubborn, out of touch buffoon in his beliefs as the son-in-law was a "soyboy beta cuck" type progressive in his beliefs.
