I read the not very clear article, and it says republicans have a 67-66 majority because there's one seat open waiting for a special election. as far as I know open seats waiting for a special election don't just make the government, state or federal, stop running, so the republicans probably actually have the right in this since there's no guarantee that special election will be won by a Democrat, even if that's the likely outcome. obviously I'm not a lawyer versed in Minnesota state law so this will be up to their supreme court, but all the Dems just folding and not showing up at all makes things look much worse than they should have --- I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen... ...
