Ethereum still tracks Bitcoin pretty well and it's a Proof of Stake coin. I understand BTC has the name recognition, but it's just *worse* at being a digital asset for so many reasons that I'm still hoping people make the transition to something more sustainable.I'm talking about a worst case scenario. PoW has extremely powerful defenses against a 51% takeover. PoS does NOT, since a single 51% attack can permanently compromise the coin. For ETH it would only take $200 bil to do that. Bitcoin's PoW is actually large enough now that not even the US budget could sustain a takeover. They would need to join up with the EU and China or something to make it work.
