I personally don't want to touch Reddit because I feel like NSFW carries a lot of the traffic on that site (i have no actual numbers to support this theory, but I'm basing my guess off of tumblr's massive drop after banning NSFW) and I'm betting NSFW will get cracked down on more and more now that they're public. However, I was wrong about the IPO, so I could just as easily be wrong about avoiding it for this reason now. I don't honestly think Reddit's value is in it's advertisable user base, but it's years of quantifiably rated posts and user interactions and how that data might be useful for AI model training. But that's just my onion. I don't think annoying karma farming one liners are valuable user interaction data, personally. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
