Trumps birthday, falling on June 14, coincides with Flag Day which acknowledges the adoption of the stars and stripes as the official U.S. flag in 1777. Tenneys press release noted that this proposed bill would permanently codify a new federal holiday that would be listed as Trumps Birthday and Flag Day on June 14.
