Yes , but I explained why it has nothing to do with nostalgia.

Games released these days (well for the last 10-15 years, I do see a positive shift in the Video Game industry lately) basically feel like their coming out of a factory to be mass created. ( not the physical copies, but the actual ideas to create games). Most games are also a lot more formulaic these days too.

I am not saying that the 90s only, had good games, or that there are no good games today.

What I am saying is that when it comes to advances and innovation, the 90s were it.... Maybe early 2000s too, but around 2006-2008, development and innovation really started to stagnate. it wasnt until I think the end of the 2010s, that I felt video games started to make a comeback, and I do think there is another golden age about to take place.

(or has it already started?) I think this is the case, as I have been seeing some very crazy games come out that I would consider some of the best games I ever played. It feels like the video game industry is either about to blow up ( in a good way,) or has already started blowing up again. I cant say for sure, and I will give it a few more years. but I do believe we are about to or just entered a new golden age for video games.

I know what nostalgia is , there are games that i played in 2015 that im nostalgic over.

I am not the only one that would classify the 90s or early 2000s as the golden age of gaming. It is an opinion, the majority of gamers seem to hold.

the period when a specified art, skill, or activity is at its peak.

like i said, it has nothing to do with nostalgia..

Before it was Quality over Quantity.
Now it is quantity over quality.

or at least it was for a while.

Like I said, I do believe we are about to or have just entered another golden age of video games..
