idk i found it really easy, just janky. there are maybe two or three missions that are difficult but besides that it's not particularly difficult. levels are pitifully small so getting lost is impossible too

whenever i hear complaints about the game's difficulty, it usually comes from jank like literally broken physics (pachinko) or weird camera angles that make some fluddless jumps more awkward than they should be. the blooper surfing is probably difficult for how early it is, especially if you don't know that they have different handlings and speeds

as a kid it's probably a pretty hard game, but as an adult i find it pretty underwhelming in general
I think I will second this. Most of the really hard segments like the Sand Bird and the Poison River wouldn't be as bad if the controls were better at doing what you want them to do and the camera jank isn't helping matters.

And of course, not having even a semblance of a way to track Blue Coins in the different levels is a massive oversight the game has. Just makes it so if you don't keep track, you will never know where what is missing is.
