Wait,what? How? You can use the warp pipes on world 1 to get to at least world 5.

The game even near the end is easy as hell.

It took me years and years to beat SMB1. For two reasons:

1. I'd try for like 20 minutes at a time, like once every three years.

2. For whatever reason it never occurred to me to pass under the hammers, then stop and wait for the hammer bro to jump before continuing. I always tried to clear both in one pass. If you're unlucky--and I am--they can land on you if you try to pass by at full speed like you see in the speedruns; I had that happen to me a lot.
