Why would anyone make or value a deal with the US when they are openly not only saying but bragging that they won't stand by deals they have made. They'll just declare it "unfair" and move on.

100% this. America cannot be trusted. Trump has even been ripping up his own deals on a whim, to say nothing of historical deals. On top of that, the American people have shown themselves to be willing to elect someone like Trump even after all the stuff he did last time, so even in a future where Trump is gone, there's no assurance that this won't happen again in the near future. Given Iran's current issues, they'd be absolutely crazy to try and make any deal with America.
