on the one hand, people are throwing molotovs and doing drivebys and shit and that's pretty extreme tbh

on the other hand, this is what happens when you don't follow government ethics guidelines and laws to deconflict your private business interests from your public government duties and then piss off all the people you're supposed to be serving (or not, because you're not officially the head of a government department that doesn't legally exist)

The whole situation is fucking weird.

I can see the justification for a task force like this, if it were like Costco or local bookstores it would be important to investigate. The fact that it's the company of a CEO that bought the elections just makes it seem like a personal vendetta which is the MO for everyone else in this administration
