I think Karl was a little too vague about the details regarding his case, but I don't think it was intentional. He was probably trying to minimize the details because it was still an active case at the time. But considering how he was a little bit too public about it in the first place, he should have at least communicated better why he was being sued.

Edit: Karl did retract his statement about Mitchell and Apollo, but it was in a video that had nothing to do with Billy Mitchell, which is not acceptable in my opinion. I didn't watch the video the retraction was in because the subject didn't interest me, so I didn't even know Karl took back his statement.
