I've always heard it praised for it's dialogue, but I used to think it was so pretentious and contrived. It's been a long time since I've seen it and my opinion of Kevin Smith as a director has not improved. I know it's a well-liked movie and maybe I'm in the minority. --- The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth, it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true.
