A cheese toasty, which is just a tosta de queijo with a different cheese... doesn't have greasy bread to the touch. And if you set it on a napkin, the napkin doesn't get any grease on it.

Those look very different, but . . .

While the grilled cheese I make looks similar to that picture, mine are not greasy in any way. First, I use real butter and only enough to get a nice toast on the outsides with only a little (or none if only making it for myself) on the inside. Second, I use grated sharp cheddar cheese, not that nasty, fake American sliced "cheese."

Now, I'll admit that that's not how our grilled cheeses are generally made. I'm just saying that you shouldn't judge ALL of us by your worst example.
