Topic | Nintendo Maintains Switch 2 Pricing, Retail Pre-Orders to Begin April 24th in US |
Philip027 04/18/25 1:00:07 PM #73: | I don't really get why people are going nuts about the price of MK World. If you know you're wanting the game right away, just get the bundle so that it costs $50. Yeah, sucks for those that wanted a physical copy I guess, but I suspect before long they simply aren't going to make physical releases anymore in the first place, so you may as well start getting used to it. It's the same reason why I couldn't understand why people got bent out of shape about TotK being 70. You could get that game for 50 (along with another game for 50) as well with their vouchers system. Were there really that many people that didn't know about these ways to sidestep the higher-than-normal price point? If it was simply a matter of trying to avoid digital games, I would have understood, but I found that people rarely if ever brought up that argument when complaining about the prices for these games. ConfusedTorchic posted... there's literally nothing wrong with its price in the first place, thinking they'd change it or that it should somehow be cheaper than the still $300 switch 1 is asinine I think it's mainly that people were wondering if the price would go up because of tariffs. I don't think anyone was realistically expecting them to go down. That's not a thing these companies do. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
