Like the funding itself is good, but being able to completely change a piece of legislation by crossing out individual digits and punctuation is ridiculous and something I would fully expect Republicans to abuse next time they win the governorship.For the record, I think line item veto in general is probably not something that should be allowed because it feels like too much of an encroachment from the executive to the legislature... but if it's going to be allowed in some jurisdictions might as well make use of it.
