But leveling up even once makes a hell of a difference and if you need to level up the game isn't grindy at all. Like 3-6 encounters is enough typically. I imagine normal mode isn't that bad because my reflexes are shit (can't do Legend of Dragoon additions consistently) and I'm doing fine on expert.
