Its what he showed you. Why do you think he spent 20 years raising luke at all dude? If he could just walk up and wallop Vader at any time. Seriously have you never actually thought about this?

It literally is not what he showed. Vader is simply stronger than he is. Obi-wan can't fix everythiing himself

Thats vaders pride speaking, he does similar galvanized before fighting Luke, right before Luke trounces him. Stop putting words in his breathalizer that aren't there.

After Luke surpasses his first teacher and uses the Dark Side you mean?

ROTJ Vader is him in his prime. That means his best and strongest. This is WELL established by guy. Well established.
'
It's Vader at his top raw power. But it's also him less skilled and less mature. Something well established.

Vader's control has risen since then. Obi-wan could face Anakin because he was intimately familiar with him and was more mature and skilled despite Anakin being stronger. Obi-wan is strong enough to easily cut down Maul, but Vader has spent decades hunting and killing Jedi and sharpning his skill without his own immaturity.

Oh FRICK off with this lmao. He clearly was beaten, and injures himself trying to fight back at windy lmfso. This is just sad at this point, and an added mark to the inconsistency of the PT.

"Injures himself" and he's fine the second Windu is dead.

"He was clearly beaten!"
And the official novelization has Mace realize Palpatine is wholly unafraid because?
"Palpatine trusts Anakin Skywalker."

Disney has all but said it now. In both the EU and the new canon, they pretty much straight say Palpatine faked it and threw the fight. Even Lucas said he "fakes his weakness."
