[proceeds to instantly wreck villain with either a vulgar display of power or a dirty trick of their own] I've seen this in enough various media over the years for it to be a trope, but bonus props to the most recent example I've seen: (MCU spoilers) ~~Captain Marvel not only did this in a fun way, but also brought it back around to being meaningful with the "I have nothing to prove to you" line~~, which was easily my favorite moment in an otherwise forgettable movie. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. <cite>masterpug53 posted [p:985139599] in what are c...
