But the batmotank battles didn't really belong in a Batman property (Batman doesn't use guns, except when they're attached to his car I guess?) and were not all that interesting or challenging once you got enough upgrades and/or figured them out. And then using the thing for platforming puzzles was a just plain ridiculous idea even if they hadn't turned out awkward and weird in execution, and the kicker is these two modes make up like 70% of the side content and a fair bit of the main story missions.
