This was my first time visiting Six Flags in over 12 years and we had so much fun.
Unfortunately, my gf started getting really nauseous towards the end of the day, so we didn't try West Coast Racers, or Wonder Woman (we put them off because they had consistently longer wait times). And Apocalypse has apparently been closed for refurbishment since 2024 (hopefully it doesn't end up with the same fate as Superman). So I won't include those 3 in the ranking. But here's my rankings, with a bit of my thoughts.
- X-2. Still my all time favorite at the park. The way the seats flip while you're going through the track is just so disorientingly fun. Nothing beats that craziness for me. And thankfully, since the ride had to be temporarily shut down twice that morning, there was almost no wait time when we got on.
- Twisted Colossus. Holy moly this ride caught me off guard. The amount of air time you get is insane. And it feels so fast the way it whips around the track. Amazing ride and I'm glad I finally got to experience it. Huge improvement over the old Colossus (which wasn't even in my top 5). Also my first time on an RMC Hybrid coaster
- Tatsu. Still a fantastic coaster. It's such a crazy feeling to be laying down while going through inversions. I had forgotten about the amount of force you feel in the pretzel loop, so that was a fun surprise.
- Full Throttle. This was another new one for me. The way it slows down at the top of the loop is terrifying with just the lap bar. But overall it was a lot of fun. I loved the launches and the top hat over the loop. Just wish it was a bit longer.
- Goliath. The former tallest coaster in the world (it held that record for a whopping 3 months lol). With my fear of heights, this is the one that always makes me the most nervous. That first drop (255 feet) is terrifying, but I still have fun on it every time.
- Scream. Still the only floorless coaster I've been on and still a great ride. Super smooth and probably my favorite zero g roll on any coaster over been on.
- Batman. It's a short, but sweet ride. I really like how much you feel the turns as it whips around.
- Riddler's Revenge. A great standing coaster. I forgot how loud it is, but the inversions still feel great.
- Ninja. It's not an intense coaster at all, but the way the coaster swings around turns is still a lot of fun.
- New Revolution. The OG looping coaster. It's nothing crazy, but it was still a lot of fun. I didn't realize the VR thing was only temporary, so sucks that we missed that (they removed it years ago).
- Gold Rusher. Old and shaky. Least intense ride in the park, imo. Good little coaster for when you need a break though.
- Viper. Admittedly, we skipped this one and it seems many others did too. It always had a 1 minute wait time whenever we looked at wait times. I've avoided this coaster because it's old and rough and my head hitting the shoulder restraints always gives me a headache.
Unranked: Wonder Woman, West Coast Racers, Apocalypse. Wonder Woman, in theory would take the #4 spot above Full Throttle. West Coast Racers would probably be just behind Full Throttle. Apocalypse I remember being pretty fun, so I'd likely put it above Batman.
Anyway, that's my personal ranking of the coasters. Aside from West Coast Racers and Wonder Woman being 50+ minutes at several points, the lines weren't actually that bad. Like 15-20 minutes for most coasters.
