These topics are always difficult for me, due to the number of them. So I have to pick and choose who gets updated time in the spot light. It's due to the upload size limit and laziness to downsizing images..
Also going to make this a sad update post for anyone who remembers me from the older cat topics.

One more image showing Sadie's striking orange super nova on her back. Which brings me to the sad news.

Two weeks ago she passed away swiftly, bringing the number down to 8. Originally peaking at 11 total in 2021. These are outside cats (minus Furrball when she was alive) due to essentially being TNR's turned into outside pets, because it's impossible to not pet and love on them.

We aren't 100%, but we're suspecting possible avian flu as she apparently ate a bird only 4 days before appearing to be acting off. Took her to the vet, she got shots, and in less than 3.5 days of first showing symptoms passed away. She was inside being cared for during that time, but it wasn't enough and lines up with other reports I've read.

The others haven't shown any symptoms, but they are aware of her absence with Cinder vocalizing for her. Plus she used to hang out with mama cat, who is looking for her.
