My handle is named after a key element in the first RPG I ever beat, and its crappy yet oddly addictive sequel. In a nutshell, your party's ultimate goal in Legend of Legaia is to save the planet by reviving these bridges between your character's dystopian world and the mystical spirit world called the Genesis Trees, of which there are like ten of them I think, which purges the air of the evil artificial mind-controlling mist surrounding them at all times. I'm probably doing a terrible job of explaining it, but reviving the trees and watching the Mist shrouded war torn world of Legaia return to life was always my favorite part of the game.

Its cheaper bargain bin sequel, Legaia: Duel Saga contains exactly none of these elements, but it was still fun for me to sink time into in a different way and it basically played perfectly into my neurotic ADHD hands. The Saga part was also partially inspired by Xenosaga, a series I hadn't even played at the time my account was made, but had made its way onto my radar because of its cool boxart so I was eager to try it once I got a job got a life so I could get a KOS-MOS.

And there you have it. It has nothing to do with the Bible or Sega Genesis and in fact, other than the SNES and Wii, and some handheld console devices, I have owned Sony consoles exclusively.

Hey, cool. Legend of Legaia is pretty fun.
