But there's definitely a lot of "they caused their own suffering" and maybe some hope that they'll take it to heart and prevent it from happening to anyone else. That they'll learn from their mistakes that cost them so dearly. As much as I would hope that myself, if after everything else that has happened in Texas (weather related or not) couldn't be their moment of clarity, then I doubt this one would be the one that does it. That's the real fucked up part about it. Nonetheless, what is happening down there is so saddening. No one deserves any of this. Now I am hearing people saying Austin is under a flood warning? How bad is it there?
