I know it was blowing up at the time but I kind of chalked it up to the actual series being good, I didn't hear anybody specifically mentioned how good the animation/direction was, but maybe I really should got back and watch it if it's even close to this. I really feel bad for Bad Girl for airing the same day as this, Hikari, and Weathering the Rain.
