Or just wait for the big quarterly sales.When you see a game you want on Steam, but it's not currently on sale you end up going to some place like steamdb to see when you should buy it and at what price. I just got a game at $15 but it's normally $60(and I knew not to buy it full price because it goes on sale often enough), but I didn't know what the lowest price was so I waited for that price to show up again in case it got a worse sale than its lowest ever price. Steam notifications don't tell you what a game's lowest ever price is, and the Factorio dev apparently uses this time I waste as a reason for why it never goes on sale.
