I think Democrats need to do better, including better messaging, in social media spaces where people will actually receive it.

I also believe, with all my heart, that we are in the situation we are in because an enormous chunk of the American Electorate are complete morons. That, if Democrats want to get to this significant group, the best they can do is jingle a set of car keys in front of them. And, even that might be too complicated, policy wise.

The Democrats have a lot of work to do, and have to keep trying. But we are not here because of anything the Party has to work on-I wish we were, because that is more comforting than the reality. The reality is that the GOP decided to completely abandon good faith governing, and they knew they could get away with it because millions of our voters are gullible and stupid. I dont know what the messaging/action fix is for that, especially since those same voters saw a GOP attempt at a coup and responded with a shrug and rewarding those responsible complete control of every branch of government.
