Worth noting that alignments in Fate don't work exactly the same way as in DnD. Officially, the first part (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic) is based on the principles that the Servant considers important. While the second part (Good, Neutral, Evil) is based on their personality. To an extent, it's influenced by how the Servant sees themselves. Different incarnations of the same Heroic Spirit can also have different alignments due to them not manifesting with the exact same personality. Rider has a few alternate versions in Fate/Grand Order, and they range from Neutral Good to Chaotic Evil.

All that aside, she does also have to obey her Master to an extent. Provided it's not something completely against her nature.

I thought the alignment was used on the prototype versions of the characters, which explains why Gilgamesh is considered Chaotic Good while his Fate version is a massive asshole
