The engineering firm I worked for at the time did a crapton of residential work which requires quite a bit more testing than commercial because you're taking multiple samples per lot in a neighborhood with maybe 100 lots as opposed to a skyscraper grocery store that has one lot. So as the housing bubble collapsed we lost most our work and they kept me on as long as they could even had me testing samples a different company sent us because we had a really nice lab but even that dried up so they let me go. Silver lining that company that was sending us samples scooped me right up 3 months later lol. --- I'm an artist at what I do. I fuel the fire, watch it burn, and laugh all the while. ...
