Apparently Connery would go on to regret turning it down, which led him to pursue League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Whoa that's cool, I didn't know either of those. Thanks! The only regret for turning down a role I can think of is Eric Andre was offered the role that Kieran Culkin received in A Real Pain, which went on to win an Oscar.
