Didn't the Democrats reveal their internal polling showing Harris was not once in a winning position over Trump? Meanwhile the polls for the entire campaign were showing it as a knife-edge election the whole way. Problem with polling with Trump involved is some people that are definitely voting for Trump are too embarrassed to admit it to anyone else (limited self-awareness), so they said they are "undecided" when they definitely aren't.
