Topic	U.S. Army Reserve Helicopter units are being eliminated
wackyteen 08/04/25 10:36:39 PM #8:	Was actually talking with a couple of flight warrants about this earlier today, not this article but the Army moving away from Close Air Support/Attack Helicopters the primary reasoning seemed to be the unreliability or straight up inability to establish air superiority/dominance in the typical airspace that CAS/AHs operate in, almost entirely due to (commercial) drones being used in combat/disrupt air assets. This also doesn't mean that the US is going to just give up all of its birds, apparently the Marine Corps is interested in purchasing/co-opting the abandoned birds. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
