The Eagles are rock/country rock band. For whatever reason they seem to have a chunk of the population that hates them. I honestly don't get it and this is coming from a very casual Eagles fan. They have 7 albums, with 5 of them being excellent, 1 that's good, and one that sucks. I basically think 6 out of their 7 albums are worth picking up. Here's how I'd rank them:

7. Long Road Out of Eden
6. The Long Run
5. The Eagles
4. One of These Nights
3. On the Border
2. Hotel California
1. Desperado

This album is overplayed, but that doesn't mean it's still not an incredible album. Side 1 of this album is excellent and it flows perfectly. Side 2 has some really high highs and some lows. I know people like this song, but I'm not that big of a fan of Victim of Love. To me the highlight of side 2 is the albums closer "The Last Resort" written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey. I probably haven't listened to this album in over a decade, so I found it to be quite an enjoyable trip down memory lane. Highly recommended.

Highlights:
Hotel California
New Kid in Town
Life in the Fast Lane
Wasted Time
The Last Resort
