Lawyers for the trans woman were basically like "how the heck could you not have clocked her". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq68j0884y7o Also mentioned during the trial is that the man in question (HE'S being kept anonymous) only filed the complaint after being mocked by his friends.
