That is good. Is the Governor a Democrat? Where if they veto the Senate lost it ability to overturn it. Or is that another area where GOP control making this win less important since GOP Governor isnt going to veto the GOP state senate.
Iowa's governor is Republican. Governor nominations in Iowa require a 2/3 confirmation vote in the state senate, which the Republicans no longer have since they lost another special senate election in the state earlier this year.

It's also a ~20% swing from the last time the seat was up for election in 2022.
