Also doesn't help that they tried to make their interface more Apple-like but without doing a complete cutover, and still force you to use their old style menus at times and everything takes more clicks now than they did before with how they shortened menus. This, along with Windows making their interface more 'user-friendly' (i.e. hiding/removing configurable settings) with every upgrade has made me decide to switch to Linux. I'm currently reading up on how to work with it and testing it in a virtual box. So far I haven't really run into any problems. I was somewhat hesitant about game compatibility, but it looks like the vast majority of my PC games will work just fine on Linux (including a lot of older re-released games), according to websites like ProtonDB and WineHQ. --- One time, CE triggered me so hard with their objectively wrong opinions that I accidentally punched myself in the balls. ...
