When people mention the laugh, they're not literally talking about the laugh. It's a stand-in for "insert any dumb/petty/questionable reason for being anti-Harris here." Yep, it's the same with "price of eggs," which wouldn't be dumb or questionable if it were just about any other candidate and it was sincere, except it was just the new "economic anxiety." A few dumb people who used it were sincere because they were stupid enough to think Trump would be good for the economy, but most of them couldn't care less about the economy and threw that one out there because it sounds better than "he'll hurt the people I hate," which was always their true motivation. --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ...
