It kinda feels like with Nintendo, the console revisions actually get worse, not better. Wii revision removed gamecube support and the gamecube controller ports (considering it was basically a perfect gamecube player, this was a shame)

And with the Switch the budget switch lite version has none detachable joycons, among other lost features.

I don't think I've seen a console from them where they do the Sony thing where the revision or second edition is better, like the ps2 slim, or the ps4 pro.
