The stuff I freeze is like sweet corn from the summer. Cut off the kernels and put in freezer bags. Its the best way to keep it fresh, better than canning and 100 times better than corn from the store. I live in the #1 state for farming and corn. We have the best.

I will also stock up on like some pork butt roasts and beef roasts when cheap. Ill buy whole chickens from local farmers. Ill buy some frozen fish and shrimp which is hard to get fresh in the Midwest in a landlocked state.

But I dont buy any frozen meals no. I cook every single meal from home. Due to an illness its too unsafe to eat out and I dont buy any premade stuff. Ive always cooked a lot but gave up eating out 100% in 2017 because of my illness. Im a really good cook and love being in the kitchen.
