To your average person this is just a bridge too far. Im not personally saying how I feel, Im just saying that its a hot button issue and its way bigger of an issue than the echo chamber thinks it is to parents and people in general.
The left supports extremely unpopular things and then just calls everyone who disagrees with said extremely unpopular things names and tries to shame them into going along.
Another issue was immigration. No matter how you slice it, it was an utter lie that Biden couldnt do anything without congressional action. Everyone knew this. When I say everyone, I mean the average voter who hadnt made up their mind, not the echo chamber who insisted it was true. So it looked a lot like it wasBiden made it extremely easy for millions of people to cross the border and your average voter didnt like that. Trump proved that you can shut the border down and basically cut crossings down to zero with no congressional reform.
Like we need to be honest with ourselves and realize that the more extreme policies wre only popular to a very small section of society and the larger majority finds them deeply off putting. They really helped hand Trump the election by catering to a tiny little subset of the population against the opinions of the substantially larger population of people who were actively against these things.
Thanks for supporting views that kill people like me just because some idiots who didn't pass high school biology spew hate steeped in objectively wrong 'scientific knowledge/basics/truths' etc
