Something I'm realizing about this whole thing. A good chunk of people in the "left" didn't even know who Charlie Kirk was. He is not in their bubble, the algorithm wasn't showing them his videos.

The people who did know who he was basically just considered him another grifter buffoon with a small face people would laugh at.

I remember seeing him suggested to me a few times on youtube, so I watched some clips of him debating college students and such. That was enough for me. That's why after initially thinking of Kirk Cameron I double checked that Charlie Kirk was who I thought he was. I was completely and utterly unsurprised by him getting shot.

Meanwhile, my parents, grandmother, relatives, and the church they go to praise him for being such a beacon of good will and charity. None of them had the slightest ounce of him before this.

Then again after hearing my aunt straight up say Hulk Hogan and Trump are good christians about 1.5 weeks ago I had to restrain so hard.
