Even his later reddit posts prior to him running show his views shift in regards to the sexual assault comment and black people tipping thing. Were they dumb things to say? Yes. But there's a track record of him changing his views right there prior to it being reported on. People change and grow. Thats a good thing. What "personal growth?" He was still using slurs for gay people when he was 38. The only sign of personal growth we have is "I got caught, I'm sorry!"
