Not at first (in the 70s), but when in Logan (older), it accumulates in his soft tissue and his healing factor isn't as good as it was before and makes him more vulnerable to physical threats and takes longer to heal. When he first got it (and for decades), the healing factor was constantly canceling out the poisoning and was able to overtake it, on top of healing from physical injury.
