I understand not liking Schumer generally, but I've seen no real indication that Democrats ending the shutdown is his fault, or anyone's really, other than the 8 or so centrist Dems who decided to vote with Republicans. The leaders of each half of Congress are supposed to lead their people, but they don't actually have the power to compel them to vote one way or another on anything. --- Cuteness is justice!
