45) Shipwrights of the North Sea (2014)
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/75547/shipwrights-north-sea

Shipwrights of the North Sea is a Hand Managment/Trading game for 2-5 players. In this game the goal is to construct boats. Every round will be three phases. In the morning phase, players will draft cards until they each have a hand of 3. The afternoon phase is where you play your cards and take any other action. If you have a boat that you plan to eventually build, you place it into your workshop. You can only be working on two boats at a time, and once a boat goes into your workshop you can't remove it until it's completed. Each boat needs a specific craftsman, so if you have any of those to play they go below your board. There are villager cards that are used to help you and/or hurt your opponents. The boats also need a certain amount of resources and you obtain those through cards or through the market. At the end of each round in the evening phase you'll gain gold and workers for the next day. There's a mini expansion Townsfolk Board that I will never play without, because it gives you more options to do with your workers and can help you build your boats quicker. This is helpful because at times I've felt that the game can run on a little long. First player to build their 4th boat ends the game, and then victory points are tallied.

This game is the first in a "North Sea Trilogy". The other ones being Raiders of the North Sea (2015), and Explorers of the North Sea (2016). The interesting part of this is there's an expansion called The North Sea Runesaga, which connects all 3 games into one long marathon. For each game there will be 3 randomly chosen Runestones face up. They each have an objective on them. The first person to complete this objective obtains this Runestone which adds to their count and will give them an advantage in the next game, which will also be listed on the stone. The winner of each game earns 2 Runestones and second place will earn 1 if they were within a small amount of points as first. After all 3 games, the person with the most Runestones wins overall. I really hope to try this sometime, but I haven't even gotten to play the other two games yet.

Hint for #44
The first 2 player game shows up. I'm not a fan of this game's box.
