100. Pokemon Omega Ruby (3DS)

I've had a weird relationship with Pokemon over the years. Up until Black/White, I religiously played every game, but fell off after getting tired of the series until mid-2016 when I bought a 3DS and decided to catch up.

Originally, I had Emerald on this list, as that generation was the one I spent the most time playing as a kid, however I didn't feel right putting it in over Omega Ruby because the latter does nearly everything better than the original, and the quality of life improvements are enough to give it the edge over the older versions.

99. Far Cry 4 (PS4)

It's hard to talk to about this game without talking about Far Cry 3, which I'll spoil and say is also on this list. 4 Seemed to be the first game that people criticized as "more Far Cry", but for me, that isn't a negative. There's something about the combination of survival and crafting gameplay mixed with missions and clearing outposts that just makes for an enjoyable experience. I feel good when I can see that I am making progress in things, so seeing the game completion percentage slowly go up made it feel like I was accomplishing something in this game.

I've attempted to not compare it to Far Cry 3, but I will say that while I enjoyed the story, and the villain, Pagan Min, was great, neither of them stack up to the previous games' story and villain, which is one of the reasons why 3 is higher on my list.
