I actually specifically bought a 3DS to play Awakening and EO4, and I was incredibly disappointed by both games. rather than go on a rant about all the things I dislike about FE:A, I'll just leave it at that. it was so bad that it actually made me quit the series for quite some time. I don't hate Awakening but it's definitely one of the weaker games in the series. It has just enough of the standard Fire Emblem experience for me to like it, but it failed at basically everything other than "be a Fire Emblem game" --- We clasped our hands, our hands in praise of a conquerors right to tyranny ...
