Ernie was brought to the capital and order was restored as the people were shown that they had a true winner of the hunger games. But the unrest remained. The people had been shown by this new life form that there was much more to life than killing. After being named champion of the games many of the capital guards turned on their masters as Ernie had brought them a new hope and determination for the future. The capital guards who remained loyal were quickly dispatched by those who had seen the light. The president who reigned from the highest tower of the capital was taken and thrown from the roof by his once loyal subjects.

A new age had arrived for the nation that would be made great once again. The capital opened its gates and resources to the citizens of all of the districts and everyone was finally allowed the same rights. Disease and poverty were no longer existent as they entered an era of peace and unity led by the inspiration Ernie. Ernie embodied the simple message of peace and goodwill to fellow man. The hunger games were abolished forever.

13 cannon shots were made to honor the remaining tributes who lost their lives in the last Hunger Games.
